Our Ethos

THE THINGS MOST IMPORTANT TO US

 SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability has always been one of my core values when setting up Latitude 50 Landscapes. I knew I wanted my products to combine my respect for the natural world with a love of nature to create thoughtful and unique gifts.

With the above in mind, it has been important for me to source materials that are not only sustainable, planet friendly and, where possible, locally sourced (or from other UK independents) but also products and materials that have a second use or purpose, such as our plantable collection.

SUPPORTING OTHER LOCAL BUSINESSES

We are lucky to be living on an island with a multitude of wonderful independents to source materials from.

From our wooden logo stamp to our envelopes and jute twine, by us responsibly sourcing materials and packaging, it not only helps to cut Latitude 50 Landscape’s carbon footprint, but it also supports other fantastic British brands on their own mission and helps our own economy too.

RECYCLED / RECYCLABLE / REUSABLE

All of our packaging is plastic-free. The materials we use are either recycled, FSC certified, recyclable, compostable, sustainably sourced or a combination of these.

Many of our products incorporate packaging/presentation that can be reused such as our Eco Greeting Card Collections. Here are a few ideas on how to reuse/repurpose your parcels after use:

  • Kraft Box: Reuse the Kraft box to keep treasured photographs or letters safe and organised.

  • Twine: Reuse the twine for gift tags, or to wrap parcels with, or even to tie in the roses!

  • Envelopes: Made of recycled materials and 100% recyclable

BEING KIND

Kindness is always top of our list; kindness in caring for our planet whilst providing you with thoughtful, planet friendly cards and gifts made with a lot of love and care.
